TRAINING for Pleasant Prairie & Chicago Triathlons

• Are you a beginner or first-time triathlete with the goal of finishing the race?

• Do you need motivation and want to train with a group in a friendly, relaxed and noncompetitive environment?

• Have you signed up for the Pleasant Prairie or Chicago Triathlon and do you need to find a training program to help you meet your race day goals?

If you live near Highland Park, Illinois and you answered YES to any of these questions, you should join us for the Vision Quest Coaching triathlon training program for sprint- or Olympic-distance triathlons.

Vision To Tri, VQ's triathlon training program, will teach you all the basic skills of triathlon and how to put them together come race day. We meet three days a week for group training and give you a day-by-day schedule detailing what you need to do each day to help reach your race day goals.

Program includes:

• Swim, bike, run technique clinics, core strength and flexibility
• Lectures on training, race day nutrition, injury prevention, transitioning, open water swims and brick training
• Dress rehearsals--so you are 100% ready for race day
• Access to Vision Quest’s expert coaches and state-of-the-art training facility
• Race day support at the VQ tent before and after the Pleasant Prairie triathlon
• Participants receive a VQ goody bag with Polar Heart Rate Monitor, VQ water bottle and VQ race singlet

Program begins June 2. All levels welcome--no experience required.

Classes:

• Tuesdays 6:30 to 8:30 pm Bike Clinic/Group Workout

• Thursdays 6:30 to 8:30 pm Run Clinic/Group Workout

• Sunday 6:30 to 7:30 am Swim Clinic/Group Workout followed by VQ group bike ride leaving from VQ Highland Park at 8:00am
