Subject: Swim distance calculator?
Does anyone know of a swim distance calculator either online or an iphone app? Where you could put in length of pool and how many laps you swam it would calculate the distance?

I don't mean to sound rude, but really?  I mean, you apparently have an iPhone; it has a calculator.  Total distance = laps x length of one lap.

x2.  Really very simple.

Most swimmers don't differentiate that much b/w a yard or metered pool.  Meaning i do the exact same workout regardless of whether or not I'm in a 25 yd or 25 meter pool  Times will be just slightly slower in the meter pool.

yeah, I know but since it's a double calulation I figured someone must have made a little perhaps free app that does that and all I have to do is input 1 number

Just set up a little Excel spread sheet.  You could enter the number of laps, and it would spit out distance in yards, miles, meters, kilometers, furlongs, cubits, or whatever you program it to.
