Subject: USAT Age Group Championships, Tuscaloosa
In the "Races" listings here at BT, there are two tris posted for August 22 in Tuscaloosa. One is the olympic distance Age Group Championships. The other is a sprint distance tri called the Tuscaloosa Triathon. I would like to do the sprint, if it in fact exisits. Being in Tuscaloosa, I figured I could find out something about it, but no one seems to know anything about it, and there is no indication on the USAT page that is linked from the BT page.

Anyone know anything about it?

Honestly, I think it got cancelled. I'm not 100% but last time I checked in on it, it was canned. I'd love to do it too, but we'll have to see.

Looks like this year (my first) will be sprints. Hopefully next year will be sprints, an olympic, and maybe (really maybe) a HIM.
