Pre-race routine:

Woke up, brushed my teeth and rode the hour to the race location. Drank a bit of smoothie and water on the trip.
Event warmup:

Walked the mile from where the car was parked to the start of the race and then did some light stretching.

Comments:

Not too bad considering it was my first time running 5k without walking and I've only been training for a couple of weeks.
What would you do differently?:

I would have pushed it a little bit more.

Warm down:

Walked to the expo area where I collected my shirt and schwag!

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Not training enough.

Event comments:

A fun race with a cool t-shirt. Not too crowded and very well organized.
