Subject: Completed my 1st Tri-It Sprint using a Couch to Sprint; Now what? I just completed my 1st Tri-It Sprint (1:24:15 ). I used a free plan Couch to Sprint (11 weeks ) and liked the direction and assistance it provided. I am planning to do another Tri-It Sprint Beginning of August; actually the same course. My swim wasn't great (8.29 ) so I would like to work on my swim (better fitness, and smoother swim ) During the swim my arms felt like lead weights so I had to side stroke; Bike 40:37 (want to generate more power, use a lower gear and faster average speed ) and a quicker run (29:20 ). I then plan to do a Full Sprint in Sept. to end the season. I am looking for another plan to continue my workouts, but the ones I see generally are ones from couch to 22 weeks. I have seven weeks until my next event and would like to use the direction of a plan. Any thoughts or ideas? I was going to use one of the 22 week plans and start at week 15 and work towards the end. Not sure if that is a smart way to do it or not? Any help out there for a newbie. THX |
