Subject: ATTENTION IMAZ PEEPS! WHO WANTS TO JOIN TEAM LOVEIAM AT IMAZ???
I am doing the Janus Charity Challenge for IMAZ and raising money for the American Heart Association.  I'm doing in it honor/memory of a little baby from AZ who passed away when only 28 days old this past Febuary due to 4 cogenital heart defects.  His name was Liam...and I am running and doing my IM for Liam.  Please read my Janus link for Liam's story. When Liam passed away in Feb, his parents did the 'Heart Walk' and created 'Team LoveIAM'.  I have now joined Team LoveIAM and would love for others to join me.

Here's my idea.  I would LOVE for a large majority of us doing IMAZ to become members of Team LoveIAM and race in memory of Liam.  So, I was thinking of ordering Under Armour Visor's and getting the Team LoveIAM logo on them in hopes that we could wear them on the run portion of IMAZ.  Liam's parent's Ross and Daradee will be there to cheer us all on and how awesome would that be for them to see so many people running in their son's memory/honor!? 

Here's how it would work...

For anyone who donates a minimum of $15 to the AHA through my Janus Challenge Website they would recieve a visor to wear the weekend of IMAZ and for the race (if you want).  Just make your donation using the link http://januscharitychallenge.kintera.org/az09/runningforliam  then send me a private message or email me at [email protected] letting me know your full name and email address.  During the race weekend, I will set up a time and location at the race Expo where we can meet to hand out the visors and meet!  I'm thinking this would most likely be before the "Pre-race dinner'.  Also, if you have family or friends who are coming to watch you race and they too want to get a visor to wear to support Team LoveIAM they too can make a donation and email me letting me know they made a donation and their name and email address.

In order for this to be successful though I sort of need to know who would be interested so I know how many visors I should 'anticipate' to order.

Please check out the websites below and if you are interested in donating just do so through the Janus Challenge Link.  If you are not comfortable with making a donation online, you can also write a check to the American Heart Association and mail to me (I can email my address to you) and I can fill out on offline donation form and send it in.  Remember...all donations are tax deductable as well.
