I know that there is a lot of potential riding going on on Sunday, but if anyone wants to join a couple of us for a 3 hour ride from Waukesha, around Pewaukee Lake, through Delafield, to Oconomowoc, dousman and back to Waukesha speak up!

About 50-60 miles at a chat pace of 18-19ish

Maybe not coconuts, but definately bamboo.  I need to do a three hour tour on Sunday.  What time for wheels out and from what point in Waukesha?  I think I am a bit slower than you, but if you are going for time I would be happy to join in the fun.  Oh, and I'll be Mary Ann.

Oops, just saw your anticipated speed, I WISH!!

well, I would say that 19 mph may be pushing it, and 18 may be a more accurate average.  Wheels out probably 7ish.

I also have a 3-hour tour on Sunday, but:

a. I'm a weak weak donk and my wheels won't be out at 7:00 AM; and

2. I'm a slow slow donk and since I've never taken a 3-hour tour before, I'm planning on closer to 16-17 MPH.

Terri, I thought your tour was on Friday?

i also have a 3-hour tour scheduled for Sunday, and on hilly terrain average about 16+ MPH (on mostly flat, i can avg 18-ish).  I live about 25 mi due north of Oconomowoc.

if anyone wants in, we have amended it to 17-18 mph 7ish wheels out.

The more the merrier, very scenic, just rolling hills. (pewaukee lake being the worst of it)

According to my "coach", Sunday will work best.

Stupid questions, as I've never done a group ride before:

-What if I can't keep up? Do I get dropped?
-Does the group make stops to refuel/potty?

Assuming I have clearance from the tower for an early  morning departure, I will most definately drop with you if need be.

no one gets dropped.

There are many places to stop for refueling.

Dig deeply for the Kid, Terri. He expects it.

I'll be there at 8 AM, with plans for a short run after.
