Subject: FS Hard bike travel case
I have a hard travel case that has served me well that I have not used for a while.  It has 4 wheels on the bottom - 2 that swivel & 2 that don't.  You have to remove both bike wheels to pack your bike.  The bike is securely held by a fork mount skewer & a toe strap around the rear chain stays which attaches to a bracket in the bottom of the case.  There is a soft handle/strap used for pulling it & an internal pouch for storing minor items like skewers & pedals.  The box had 4 latches that never really worked very well unless locked so I had 3 custom velcro straps (actually 6 - I had an extra set made just in case they wore out) made that hold like iron.  1 of them goes around the top, bottom & sides (long ways) & the other 2 go around the sides, top & bottom (the short/skinny way).  Asking $ 250 OBO.

A safe haven for the bike it is for sure!  It has allowed 10,000's of air miles over the years, all w/ no damage to the bike.

I'm looking for a case just like this one.  How much might it cost to ship that bad boy?

It looks like roughly $ 40 for ground shipping to Portsmouth, NH, no insurance.  I can double check if you're interested when I measure & weight it.  Let me know.

It's a sweet case, but I don't think I can spend that kind of money right now.  Gotta keep saving for the bike, ya know?  Good luck selling it.  The thing looks bomb proof!
