Subject: Add on to my race nutrition plan...
Well, in my next race, I'm going to be the weirdo chugging Maalox in T1! 

That's right, folks, I finally had my swimming breakthrough (like a switch turned on in my head...from nearly hyperventilating after 50 yards to truly swimming w/ no trouble), now I discovered that stretching out face-down in the water for longer than a few minutes at a time gives me KILLER heartburn every time. 

Thanks mom, thanks dad.  (Totally genetic, they both have issues w/ it.)

I'd better start taking a heartburn arsenal to the pool to figure out what works!

I know ginger helps to keep a stomach settled. Perhaps your doctor can recommend something either OTC or prescription?
