This article really spoke to me for some reason.  Trying to incorporate it.  Any thoughts?

Fact: You do not have to be on the Paleo diet to win races.

Fact: Top performers have taken the time to work out nutritionally what works for them.

While I really like the Paleo diet concept, it's not the only way to eat. People who perform well in races tend to have really healthy fresh foods as the core of their diet, but they also have worked out what they individually need for peak performance. There is no one size fits all.

This article is really not about the paleo diet, more about sensible eating.  In fact, starting with the 1st page the article talks about including whole grains and goes on later to suggest oats and yogurt at breakfast.  The quotes from Friel certainly reflect a paleo diet but the article seems to expand sesnible eating to include whole grains and dairy.
