Pre-race routine:

Ate a breakfast of an egg and mushroom sandwich.
Event warmup:

Lots of stretching. I felt very "creaky" today, probably owing to the marathon last weekend. Found a friend and chatted with her. Because I figured I'd be pretty slow I held way back.

Comments:

Pretty good run. I held back the first mile and then realized that I actually felt pretty good. So mile two I took off and finished the last two miles pretty quickly (for me). It felt really good and my ankle didn't give me problems at all!
What would you do differently?:

Go ahead and let go that first mile!

Warm down:

Lined up for goodies! Stretching. Walked back to the other Haggen since this was a point to point.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Marathon last week.

Event comments:

Good race that I'll do again next year. The race is free for Haggen's card holders, so you can't beat THAT price!

Great race!  I didn't know that this race is free to Haggen card holders.  I should do it next year.
