Had a great time at this well run event.  Great Tri for Beginners. 400 yd swim, 13 mile bike, 5K run. I rode my mountain bike with fat slick tires and flat pedals.

Hey Dean!

I saw you a few times at the race.  You grabbed your camera from someone and started taking pictures as your ran from the swim to T1.  It looks like you had a great race!

Yep that was me. I actually had my camera hangin on one of the post holding the flagged tape. I was videoing the run up.

I came in Last place Men 40-44.  36th of 36.  But had a GREAT Time!

Nice pictures! So, now are you addicted? When is your next race?

I'm actually in the background of the first one you posted, my sister and I were walking down to the swim start. (oh, and the plants in the water.... ick, I stepped on a couple before the start and it was totally gross)

I've done Xterras before but this was my first "Road" Tri.  I would like to do the Vidalia Onion Tri Sept 19 but its the same day as the 12 Hours of Dauset MTB Race and I'm in for that.

While you were running up to the transition I yelled something to encourage you and the smile on your face showed what a good time you were having.  Hopefully, I'll see you at another race.
