Tell 'em you know this chick on the tri forum who is in the middle of getting diagnosed. She's gonna do the MS150 in the Berkshires next year. She's also going to run up the Mount Washington Auto Road next summer, in addition to hiking the other 47 4000' peaks in NH. She refuses to let the MonSter get her.

But only if she can get access to the meds and services she needs.

I’m not riding, unfortunately. Sounds like fun. I’ve done parts of the NYC Century and it would be great to ride through the city on close streets. Having to ride 55 miles where you have to stop at every intersection gets old really really fast. Is there somewhere I can see the route? If you’re passing through my neighborhood, I can stand by the side of the road and pass you a donut as you go by, or something.

I'm working on getting the route from one of the people at MS NYC.  We keep playing phone tag and she keeps calling me Barry, vice Bear.  Once I get a route, I'll definatly let you know. I'm very excited about this ride. I was born in Brooklyn then moved to the Poconos when I was 6. I've flown thru the city in a Helo a few times, while training students, but this is really exciting!

so not a nyer (well born there so am a native and family all there) but I will be there riding the 100!!!
