10 days til race day...who's doin the HOT this year? I'm gonna go on Saturday and ride the course like I normally do the day before...after packet pickup. Hopefully this year it won't be raining on pre-race day.

We're in, too, but just for the Sprint.  We'll try to work our way up to the Olympic in another year or two.  We are certainly looking forward to the clear freshwater.  That will be a nice change from our first two ocean swims

See you all there!

Looks like Danny won't affect us.  I just hope that maybe THIS year will be the year we can actually get a good pre-race one-loop ride in???  It's been HOT the past few years, I'm figuring on it being just as HOT this year.  Weather channel puts low at 75 and high at 91, but that's usual.  Either way...gonna be fun!!

Looking forward to the race.  This will be my first Oly.  Good thing it's not in the ocean, or we would have some serious swell to contend with.

It's gonna be HOT tomorrow!!!  Drove the course today...the guys at transition told me that the run course had not changed like I had originally thought.  The run course is the same as last year.  Have a great race everyone!

Not that I remember.  There were a few tents up that I've never seen before.  So there may be a few new things this year.

The run course had mile markers and a turnaround sign on the road that I thought we were supposed to skip this year.  Pete and I drove the bike and the run courses.  Although, ya never know what can happen the night before a race.  So let's definitely make sure in the morning!

Wow! This was so much fun!  Did anyone here do the Sprint?  I'm confused as to how far it actually was because it seemed really short compared to how I practiced in the pool.  I'm doing another one at the end of September in Italy and it says it is 750 meters which is how I've been practicing.  Anyway, I am so excited about triathlons now.  I was super nervous at first, but I finished and I think I did well considering it was my first time.

This was my second, I did the sprint also.  I thought the weather was nice and cool and the lake was great.  A good event and close to home, so I will be back next year, maybe ready for the Olympic distance!
