I did not thanks to this cold that I'm sure I managed to get from my toddler. Damn kids. I seriously thought about it and got up at about 5AM to assess but I felt crappy enough where the race I was really looking forward to held no appeal whatsoever. Maybe I need to run the Monster Dash 10 Miler as punishment. So, sorry Brian. I wasn't able to get you that 7x:xx finish time you were looking for. And thanks for not smoking the TCM course. I'm going to have a HUGE marathon PR next year. ;-) |

We managed to see a few non-BT friends on the 10 Miler, as well as Steve Stenzel (and the famous yellow shorts). I have a picture that I will download. We also saw Sven Sundgaard go by, incognito in a stocking cap. Too bad his tan and physique are so .... just him. I was wondering if you didn't make it, Tom.... Although there were so many big groups, it was easy to miss people. We then had breakfast at the Longfellow Grill and walked up the road a bit to catch the wheelers and the lead men in the marathon, around 17.5. We were too cold to stay any longer, so we rode our bikes home after that so missed the lead women and the rest of y'all. Hope everyone had a good time! |
