Pre-race routine:

Got up and had some dry corn chex (really didn't plan my food for the trip well) and drove from Ruthie and Bobby's to NOMAD - caught up with my Team G folks, got transition set up and was ready to go!

Good swim, I paced myself well and didn't go so hard I was panting - didn't get caught up or get passed (got caught but not passed) About 20 sec. faster than last year on LOTS less pool training

Rubber bands broke too early so getting into my shoes was a trick - I didn't do well with that one today but that actually was w/ my bike time, not transition time - transition time was great

Nothing, well maybe a better set up with the rubber bands

I was focusing on having a good run today and worked hard (there was panting and drooling), again I still see room for improvement since I finished, waited about 10 min. then went back out for another 3 miles

Nothing really, I felt good, stayed positive and ran hard : ) PR TODAY!

Nothing, this was 5 min. faster than last year - great day!!
