wgraves7582 - 2010-02-04 7:37 AM Darren and Lenny better watch out - I am coming after you - LOL

Great job so far guys keep it up!

Great Job Bill!

Think you might catch me. Having sinus surgery on Friday, so I will have to take it easy for a couple weeks. Brewer will still need to have his walks though.

I would think just about everyone everywhere can rack up some points this week with all the snowy weather across the Northern tier of the country!

Got some decent points today as I enjoyed a day on the slopes with my boys!
I plan on skiing as much as possible in the next little bit. Have half a winter to make up for. I was initially avoiding the ski hill because of my goofy knee......but its all good!

Don't look now Bill but I am chasing your tail. Spent more time out on the slopes and a nasty horrid hilly 8K run after.

Made it through sinus surgery, but can't work out until after my next doctor appointment on Feb 23rd. Spent the weekend laying on the couch, at least I could watch the Olympics. Took Brewer for a 10 minute walk this morning, maybe by weekend I can take him for a longer walk and get a few points.Looks like it is going to be a close race to the finish this year.

Hi all!  I picked up that head/chest/fatigue flu at the start of the year but I'm hoping I'm over it now.  Time to try to catch up!  Raced a du yesterday on icy roads -- that was interesting.   Looks like it's starting to snow so I better get out for my run soon

Doctor said I could start running again, so Brewer and I will be back out there tomorrow morning. Looks like I have a lot of catching up to do.

I've dropped down to at least 12th place now, but since we had snow thru April last year there's still time

I've been sporadic with my outdoor training, but this challenge has definitely gotten me out running more than I would have!  I would actually wait until later at night to go run hoping the temp would drop more or the wind might pick up a bit!  We are starting to warm up a bit after some odd snow storms came through our area.  My sciatic acted up again last week (had to play basketball twice, didn't I?) and that curtailed running for a week.  I'll try that again after the chiro tomorrow (come on cold air!!).

I must say, living in Iowa was a whole lot easier for me this winter because of my participation in the crappy winter weather challenge!!  I only missed December running outside-I think I got one run in...and then I found this challenge, what a difference!  Thank you, again, Bill, for doing this!  I have a 9 mile and 12 mile planned this week, so I am after you!!

My sophomore year in highschool it snowed the first week in May, which also happened to be prom weekend!
Wouldn't count for points, I know, but it still snows in April in Iowa, more times than I care to remember!

So if it it 36 degrees out, raining and windy, do I still get points for running in the rain-like 1 point?

The forecast is for 36 degrees and I have a 9mile run tomorrow morning!

I hear ya nichip--snow happens! I don't plant any flowers til Mother's Day.
Temps are warming and points are sagging but still hangin' in there... snowmaggedon has been the name of the game this year

I don't want to count myself out quite yet but the weather here in Boston is starting to warm up (YAY)  Went for a run yesterday at 5AM and it was already 39 degrees
