Thought all you ironmen from this years IMKY might be interested in this guy's statistics:

http://sites.google.com/site/garminpower/stats

Very cool. It lets you see how you did throughout each segment of the race.

Dumb question.  I heard something at the athlete meeting about result books and certificates.  Is that something that they send to us or do we have to reques/pay for these?

Results book and finisher's veers were emailed a couple of days ago. In an effort to be green, I doubt that hard copies will be mailed.

Who do we contact if this email was not received?  RD?  or someone at IM?
Thanks.

George,Check the ironmanlouisville website under results. I believe there is a link there. Otherwise, I'd suggest contacting the event staff you mention below. If you pm me, I can email the results book to you. That doesn't help you with the finisher's cert.

Hi all! This will be my first IM and ill be coming all the way down from New York City to take part. I am super excited to do my best and reach that finish line. I have done one sprint so far in my triathlete career but have started to train vigorously for Louisville. My only set back so far has been some ITB syndrome but I've been working with an experienced triathlete PT to get through it. It's going to be a memorable day...I cant wait!I am currently using the 20 week IM program on this website. Any constructive criticism about it?Thanks,Noah

Noah give it some time and build a solid base now. Dont over do it.

You have a good amount of time before the race next year.

Does anybody know if the registration for this course fills up fast?  I heard IMFL is difficult to sign up for and that current finishers get first dibs, which leaves only few spots left for online folks. Thoughts?  I was thinking of doing 1/2 Iron Rev3 May Knox and maybe doing IMKY next year.

Last year I signed up on Christmas day. I believe it closed in Feb.
