I was curious if anyone or BT in general had a discount code/coupon for Triathlete magazine.  I'm interested in renewing my subscription and was trying to get a little bit of a discount.

I was put off by the price as well.

I subscribe to Runner's World (very good) and Bicycling (not bad, but they kind of ignore newbies). Was debating on Tri, but I think I'll pass for now.

thats a good point.  I think Triathlete Mag is better then another popular magainze (Inside Tri).  Seems to be more focused on pictures and the exotic races as opposed to training and improving yourself. 

 

I don't mind the ads.  Being a Generation *insert witty comment* (I'm 25) I'm usually blind to ads and they don't bug me as much considering I'm bombarded by them all day.

most mags are just that...ads, and little meat. hardly worth shelling out the $ for.

if you get the card out of Triathlete, its only $34.95 for a year. that's $2.91/per...pretty cheap.


I thought November's was pretty decent.

I'm normally into mags that cater to my hobbies but triathlete didn't do anything for me.  If I could get a year for $25, I think I would but $35 is steep.  I picked up the latest issue without looking at it and nothing appeals to me.  I think I'll check out the issue at the newstand and decide whether I need it or not.

RW is a decent mag and it's only $12 a year.  Right now they have a special, 2 years for $20 (go to website).
