Heyyyyyy, we had a heckuva turnout today!!  It was so great to see all you Donkai and fellow BT'ers!!

First, thank you to those awesome volunteers!!!!  Deanna, that carrot totally RAWKED that hill!!  I bet you worried that I WAS going to tackle you!

It was a little warm for my standards, even for NOVEMBER!!!  Imahurtin', and didn't break 2 hours (dang).

Water just past the 10 mile mark ran out of cups!  Not good.  I'll send in my complaint about that.

Lotsa beer drinkin' and Donkai associatin' was done!

The Chicago-area troop attended, too!  Good to see ya, gang!

Lrunfit and, I believe, Coredump picked up some hardware!  WOOT!

Catch ya around sometime!

Everything 1TT said and more.

Thanks to all Donkeys who came out to race and  support.  Yep - Deanna rocked the carrot.

After  a month of cold temps I don't think many of us were ready to run in the blazing hot sun.  But we all did it and we should be proud of ourselves!

At the end I was fading but what did I say..DTFU..thank you for teaching me that

Bschraff also took home hardware!

I had a great time rocking the carrot. It made a lot of people smile, which is a good thing on a tough hill. You guys all looked great out there. Sorry I couldn't stick around for socializin'. The family was patient, but they'd had enough of my silliness and wanted some lunch.

Yeah from a performance stand point I turned in a bit of a stinker, but it was so much fun seeing everybody, I didn't mind too much. Also big props to Deanna for rocking the carrot on the hill. Much Appreciated.

It was a great time!  Good beer.  Good run.  Good people.

I had a decent run (for the first two miles anyway - before the third mile where I started to think about how much more fun basket weaving would be)  but at the very end, this girl sprinted past me, totally elbowing me to get to the finish line first!  Turns out it was none other than lara13!  Sneaky, sneaky... didn't even realize she was running.  I guess all those stories about her being home with the "flu" were merely ploys to get us to run a bit slower and not throw out our A-game....

(hehe - TriDDs, did you pass me at the very end??  How did I not even notice that?  I actually did get elbowed by a chick in a purple shirt, grrrr)

GREAT JOB LARA!!!

I knew "you" had it in you

NOTE TO SELF_ try not to place in top 3 AG when you are running for someone else.  But maybe a sex change would definitely help my odds in many races - what would Jeanne say?

great job donkeys!!!  my only lingering question is "did Clint make it home?"  I feel bad for not being his drinking buddy, and hope he was able to make it through the afternoon. Next time, we drink!!!   Unexpected changes of plans stopped our ability to make it to this year's run, and I am pretty bummed about that....

I had a good time yesterday meeting some Donkey's before the run.

The volunteers were great, cold beer, great snacks after the race, and lasagna.

I saved my cup from the first water station stuffed it in my shorts to throw it away later, however it was put it to good use at the aid stations later in the run when they ran out of cups.

Did not break 2 hours, but came close, no excuses I just trot slowly

Never thought I would be happy to have a breeze and shade on the run especially in November

All in All it was a great day

OK, how do I get one of those running shirts????  Those are WAY cute!  Love the pics...makes me wish even more that I came.  Next year...then no one will be running it.  Wanted a break from it this year, but wish I wouldn't have.  It would have been very fun!

You could have done the little run/walky thing with me and MissKelly. We weren't fast, but we had a good time.

(Which seems to be my theme)

I'm not sure if that's scary or adorable.  Maybe a mixture of both so that would make it scorable?
Oh wait... that ain't right....

My carpy RR is up, and so are some other RRs (though, theirs is not carpy), like lrunfit, tall_tri_dad, bscharff, and jmwebs.

Yep, I grabbed the wrong race and had to change the date - it's not my day.
