Good luck everyone.  I probably won't be able to pick anyone out on the course, but I'll be looking forward to your race reports.

FYI: I'm Pete, bib # 289.

Anyone want to grab a beer Thursday night? ... just one, no need to dehydrate too much, but could help calm the nerves.  Otherwise I'll be sitting around my hotel room by myself.

OK, thanks for the 2 new additons, I think I've got everyone on the list.  With 29 BT-ers, it's going to be hard to track everyone and I'll probably miss seeing a bunch of you on race day, but I'll keep a numbered list with me and hopefully get a few photos.  Good luck to everyone, hope to see as many as possible on race morning!

I know it has been posted and want to insure I do everything to make 2011 IMAZ race.  On your athlete guide I see signup at 7AM on Monday morning for IMAZ 2011.  I would assume but want to make sure that is 7AM mountain time which for me on the east coast would be 9AM.  Please verfiy and good luck to all othe participants.  I did my first IM this past Saturday at  B2B and it was outstanding.  Now I want to sign up for my second IM and first branded IM race.

I believe that is for on site registration.  If you are off site registration would begin at 12:00 noon Arizona time.  Be logged into active.com and ready to go.

Please correct me anybody if I am wrong!

Good luck all you BT IMAZ athletes.  I am head out to AZ tomorrow morning.  If you see me around make sure you say hi.  I will be sporting the TriTopics uniform or polo.  I would love to get some interviews with some of you!

So a couple of rookie questions:

1.  At T1, do I just stuff wetsuit, goggles, etc in the bike bag that I just took everything out of?
2.  Do you expect a lot of people to be wearing neoprene caps?  Is the water really that cold?
3.  I'm assuming, I can bring my bottles for the bike into transition the morning of the race?

Thanks,

Ryan

1. Yes.
2. A majority of the people weren't wearing neoprene caps last year and the temps were the same.. low 60s.  I get cold pretty easily, but I didn't have a problem until I was on the bike (with wet clothes) for the first few miles.
3. Yes.

I'll go as long as I can get a ticket for my husband.  I just tried to buy one online and Active was not accepting online registrations.  I am planning on going to the mandatory athlete meeting, even though I understand that they don't tell you anything more than what is in the Athlete Guide.

I am not racing this year and I'm still excited about it..  Can't believe it's been a year for me already...  Good luck to all of you who are doing it again and are first timers..  It's a great race with wonderful volunteers...

1.Unless you come in during a peak busy time you will have a volunteer devoted to your needs. Drop all swim stuff on the ground and they will bag it.
