Pre-race routine:

My employer sponsors this race and that meant I had to help with organizing. We had a water stop and food for after party and I had to make sure it was set up. The 5k is the undercard, the main event is the half mary.

Comments:

Last year in the half marathon here, my ankle went bad again and I haven't run much this year. I started again recently but I have pain pretty quickly whenever I run. My aerobic capacity isn't much on the run anymore either. I ran up to my expectations so I am happy.

Event comments:

Great holiday weekend race at the beach. Half Mary is main event but 5k is good too. I think we had over 500 people in the 2 races, which is a 40% increase over last year.
