Comments: Run was going as planned through 18kms with 28min 5km splits. But then quickly realized that not stopping at any of the drinking stations was a terrible idea. Figured my fuel belt was enough to keep me hydrated. What would you do differently?: get drinks at drink stations to avoid heat stroke & dehydration. Post race
Warm down: tried to get fluids and isotonics in my system as quickly as possible. needed to get blood flowing in my arms again too. What limited your ability to perform faster: dehydration! Event comments: Will take this on again next year and clock in a sub 2hr finish. Learned from my mistakes. Don't mess with Singapore heat & humidity! Last updated: 2009-12-06 12:00 AM
