Take your wedding ring off so that you don’t spend all your time squeezing your hand together really tightly to stop it falling off.

D’oh.

Or stay single...cheaper yet. (Said in a quiet voice and looking over my shoulder to see if the wife is spying on me)

I agree with mike, I routinely foget to take off the ring and it becomes a  big pain in the butt. Sometimes I put it on my middle finger and then it is hard to take off.

Since I am overseas, away from the wife, and wearing a wedding ring can be hazardous when performing my flying and maintenance duties, I take my ring off the day I start flying.

When I'm home, I have to take it off at the pool.

Sad thing is I’ve been swimming for 2 months and just never thought about it.

Do you think I should divorce the wife just to save that 3 seconds a week???

My right hand fingers are bigger so when I swim I put my wedding band on my middle right hand finger and forget about it during the swim because there's no way it's coming off.

I notice that I forgot to take my ring off when it starts to slip off my finger during the swim. Rather than get out of the pool to put it away, I loop it through my watch strap, tie the strap back up, and resume my swim.

I'm luckly that don't have to remove mine, it stays in place. But if I do, there is no question if I'm married or not with the tan line I have on that finger!

LOL, you can do that Mike, but you won't be saving anything? In fact it'll be costing you more than you imagine!

My wedding ring is my barometer for my weight - I love it when it's feeling really loose as I know I'm down a few pounds again! Never yet had it feel like its gonna come off in the pool though!

I certainly couldn't afford to take it off though......

yeah, no chance of mine coming off accidentally.  Not much chance of it coming off if I wanted it to either.
