Who else was lucky to lottery in? Or are you a speed demon who time qualified in? Either way, I'm looking forward to an early spring half marathon!

I am so confused by the lottery. It says my registration status is "accepted" but does that refer to my registration for the lottery or for the actual race? (I haven't gotten an Email confirmation and they haven't charged my credit card yet...what gives?).

I hope I got in, but if not, good luck to you!!

Sadly, I was DENIED, but I am running the Central Park Grand Prix Half later this month.

6:20 prequalifcation pace is pretty aggressive, so that is an unlikely option for me.

I am in the same boat as swishyskirt. My status is "accepted," but no e-mail yet. I hope I got in. This is going to be my first half marathon, and will kick start my training this year.

Who wants to start running in this cold weather anyway!

hhhmmm, i hope I didn't jump the gun. Boy, would THAT be embarrasing! Embarassed My"status" does say "accepted", but  I can see how that can be ambiguous. i.e. we have accepted your lottery application, but not accepted you as a runner.

If you are on facebook, become a member of NYRR (if you aren't already). A lot of folks have been posting if they were denied or accepted. One has mentioned that their credit card was charged, while another mentioned they got not one, but two rejection emails.

I figure they would have sent out a "congrats" email. I only checked because a coworker checked and was accepted as well.

Remember: there's no such thing as bad running weather. Just bad running gear!

OMG, WHERE is my email?! lol.

I want to be all excited, but what if I'm wrong and I'm really not in? Still no E-mail, still no charge on my credit card. WHAT is the holdup??

Yay for everyone who got in! Hopefully I'll be joining y'all in March.

I'm in! No E-mail, but my credit card has been charged! Woohoo! So excited. My goal is to break my unbelievable (*snort*) PR of 1:44:33 from last year's More Half Marathon.

Time to start hitting those intervals. Ugh.

I ran in this last summer in the brutal heat.  Moving it to March was a good idea, I believe it was in the 90's with humidity last time.

Are we ready?  It's going to be GORGEOUS!  I've had 13 days off recently due to travels, but still hunting a PR on Sunday.  Good luck, everyone!
