Subject: Garmin 310 issue
So I've had the 310 for a few months now. Great watch. But I have one issue with it that I can not resolve. Maybe a 'user issue' though.
I have it set to auto lap every km.(Us Canadians)
So at the end of the run, I want to go back and see the history of the run. I'd like to see how long each lap took.
I know I can see that info when I download it, but is that info not available on the watch?
Other than that, no issues.

Don't know about the 310, but you can on the 305. Use the mode button to go to History, select the date, then "View Laps." From there you can scroll through the laps.

View the 310 manual, page 22.

I had the 305 and it great for the history. I read the manual . It's weird though. That info from the manual will show you all history except for an activity that was just completed.

Would it be as simple as resetting the unit after uploading your workout, to move it into "History"? Just guessing at the obvious...

Make sure you hold the lap button down for 3 seconds to store the workout. Then you can go back and see the previous workouts.

When I go into activities and scroll through and find history, my current activity isn't there. But I will really watch it
after my run today. I'll report back after lunch.

I will try this. I always thought holding the lap button for 3 seconds was just to reset. If that is what stores it to history as well, then you've solved my dilemma.

You can only look at history that is, well, history... so unless you held "lap" for 3 seconds (i.e. reset), you're lastest session is not in history.

Once you do that, you go to history in the menu and then just press the session you want to look at. Super easy!

I knew it had to be user error. I just remember on the 305 you could see you workout history without storing it. I assumed this was the same.  Even though I had read the manual, I still couldn't figure it out.
Thanks guys your ideas worked
