Hi
Has anyone started or scheduled any swims at Hopkinton State Park? I went though the thread but maybe I missed something. I would love to join in.

Thank you!
Cass

Hi, Cass!  Maybe a ride and a swim on Sunday morn?  The water will still be pretty cold, but probably doable after warming up with a loop or more of the course.  Any interest?  It's not as hilly as the Webster Lake course, so I might be able to keep up with you on the bike if you're up for it.

-Mina

How's is Sunday looking like for Hopkinton? I think I am going to head up. Weather looks like it might cooperate even.

You in Mina, MAV?? Anyone else?
Later morning might be warmer, but I am flexible. Got to give the full wetsuit a try. It is a cheapo but I love my cheapy shorty so hopefully the full will be okay.

I'm in for a bike loop or two and a swim on Sunday morning around 9 or 10.  Going to try and drag a teammate with me from my area and meet up with another tri buddy who lives in Hop for the biking-- not sure if they'll swim, but I'm aiming to get a new wetsuit before then and get in the water to christen it.  If you're just going to join for a swim, then aiming for 11-11:30ish (should be slightly warmer if the sun's out) sounds about right.

I'm in for Sunday morning.  There may be entertainment involved.  Finally had the bike fitting yesterday and I'm now in actual bike shoes and cleats.

Mina - if you get more people and need more bike rack space let me know.

Likely, 3 of us from RI will be heading up Sunday! Sounds like the time schedule so far is 11am for swim. I am planning on doing the bike route before the swim and scouting out the run route. I am unfamiliar with the course.

Mina, let's firm up the times as the weekend gets closer.   Smile  MAV are you going to be around?

Zoom Multisport is meeting by the lake for a group ride at 1pm on Saturday if anyone's interested.  Will be doing multiple loops of the Season Opener bike course.  All welcome to join for as much/little as you'd like to ride.  Hope to see you there!

I'll probably pitch up for a swim on one of the days; not interested in riding the bike course...

Unfortunately, I'm in the "Mistake by the Lake" (Cleveland) for the weekend.  Swim a few laps for me FlyTheBlueSky.  I'll train vicariously through you!!

I'm gonna try and show up tomorrow.  Doing a brick training in the morning (last one), nap and then head out there   I'm gonna walk some of the run course and swim.  Not biking since I will have just biked that morning.

Looks like I spoke too soon.  I am going to have to bail.  I have to go to my dad's this morning unexpectedly and can't do the stuff I need to do this morning, so I will have to do it this afternoon.  Have fun everyone.

To those who went out today, has the water warmed any? We're looking to swim up there next weekend. I did 10 miles on the bike, and going to get a run in today.

Is it too early to ask about swimming this weekend?  Weather looks fabulous and I think this time I might actually swim rather than tread water near shore.

I am hoping to get out one of the days this weekend - the warmest one. I want to go through the bike course as well. Let me know when you guys are planning on going.

MAV and I are going out on Saturday.  Bike at 10am and swim at 11am.  Be there or be square.  Almost 80 degrees.

Mind if I join you? Would it be ok if I brought along a couple of NH BTers that are planning on doing the season opener as well?
