What part of Alabama do you live? (Page 4)

There are lots of group rides in Mobile. The best way to get in on them is to join the mobilebayroadies yahoo group. They have a ride or two going almost every day. I live just outside of Mobile.

I live in Daphne. I have just started getting involved with GCAT and also have a group that rides on the eastern shore about once a week.

I guess I'll throw out a bump.  I'm in the West Madison/East Limestone area.

I'm going to be in Madison for the next week. Where is a good flat place to ride my bike? I've heard out by Mooresville it's pretty good.

I have family (both sides) living there too. Some of the area isn't so bad!

Check out River Region Runners (or R3) as they're called. They do lots of group runs around the area.

Moody here (between Leeds and Odenville). Total newb to the triathlon thing, don't own a bike yet. Any of you belong to the JCC triathlon group?

I live in Prattvile. I usually train alone but will train with others if you want.

Those are my initials.  How nice of a triathlon group to name themselves after me...

It's not quite Prattville, but there's a good group of folks in the River Region Runners around there if you're looking for others to run with.

Other than that, I don't know of a whole lot going in the Montgomery area for triathletes. Sorry.

For those in the montgomery area, just thought I'd share that a new Multisport Store has oppened in the PepperTree center near Vaughn Rd & Taylor Rd.

I'm in Tuscaloosa and looking for training partners.  After some time off, it's good to be back in the pool, on a bike, and hitting the pavement.

I'm sure there are folks over there.  Maybe hit up one of the Druid City bike club's rides?

Gadsden Here.  Work in Fairfield and workout at the downtown Y.  Been out of the sport for a while but training for the gator half.  Up for weekend runs and rides.

Welcome. You're not by chance at US Steel there in Fairfield are you? I know of a few folks out in that area

And of course, there' a few of us that meet to swim at Greystone/Mtn. Brook and then we meet Tues/Thurs mornings for runs at 0530 from Mtn. Brook.
