Every other forum has it's photo thread.  This is my first season of ultras, so I don't have any pictures yet, but I love inspiration.

Photos with you in it or photos of the view(s) from your ultras.  Don't forget to tell us what race the photos are from.

I never even notice that album button on profiles before... talk about tunnel vision.  I might have to take more advantage of that thing

Wow. I don't feel worthy of posting a pic from my "measly" 50K after that.

More photos at: http://picasaweb.google.com/billgeist/HardrockHundredEnduranceRun20...  That rainbow shot looks like a postcard!  I may have to consider this one at some point.

Think this was from the 2008 Chuckanut 50K.  I'm just too heavy to run these anymore.

This is part of Arroyo Park south of Bellingham on the Interurban trail.  The Chuckanut 50K runs on this part of the trail.  Also a great training run area, dogs get to go off leash and there is a stream off to the left of the trail.  Actually see ButterRocketDog on the trail.

he Chuckanut Mountains (from "Chuckanut", a native word for "Long beach far from a narrow entrance"[1]), or Chuckanuts, are located on the northern Washington state coast of Puget Sound, just south of Bellingham, Washington. Being a part of the Cascade Range, they are the only place where the Cascades come west down to meet the sea. The Chuckanuts are considered to be a part of the Puget Lowland Forest Ecoregion.
It's a nifty little mountain range.  Parts of the trail get really soupy (think of 100 yards of ankle deep chocolate pudding).  Sold out in 5 hours with about 350 competitors.  Famous for the Little Chinscraper.

WOW!  I'm a sucker for moss covered trees and single track.  I may have to put this an/or a few of the others in the Washington series on my list of races to do.  I wish I lived near the mountains!

Bandera is on my race bucket list.  I'll have to read your race report on it.
