Subject: Nutrition Question/Advice
OK quick background story. Ok ran my first Half Marathon this past weekend 2h09m10sec. I know I know not great but it was my first and for sure doing it under 2hours next time. Ok a week and half  before the race I started eat soups(high soduim) and hydrated well and basicly nothing out the norm but focused on buidling up glycogen levels and train. So during the race I ate a 1/4 of the hammer gel at the first water station and from there no gels just drank  small sips of water at every water station and no more  and I felt great all the way through and after the finish. I did feel  hungry.

Question:
Because I felt good and still full of energy  right till the end and afterwards does that mean  I got my nutrition spot on?
Advice:
Any advice  on race plan in a sense taking in my gels drinking alot more water.

Thanks

You're doing fine, wouldn't change much. The body really doesn't need a whole lot of extra nutrition to go for 2 hours. Make sure and adjust your water/sport drink intake for the conditions (i.e. more in hot/humid weather).
