i wish i could join you this year - i rode it last year and loved it.  This year, however, the budget is a little tight after having gone from zero to three-year-old literally overnight.

I am in for the 200k. I hope to attempt the 300k in a year or two.

The Quadrupedal is coming up in May I might try to fit that ride in also.

I will be in for the 200K but will probably stop at one of the checkpoints close to/before 166k.

I believe they will be marked race morning, and they had volunteers on the course last year directing you where to go based on your selected distance.

I'm registered for the 200K but may go longer depending on how I feel. Based on doing the 200 last year, I'll feel horrible, and stop at 200, but the dream is alive anyway. Last long ride before IMWI!

Some of them are, I have been following them on FB and they have had several posts that they were out marking the XX course.

I don't know whether they're marked yet, but when I rode it last year, it was one of the best-marked rides I've been on.  As long as you're not colorblind.

If you haven't ridden it before, watch out for Roberts Road (I think that was what it was called), a killer hill a little ways past the first checkpoint (15 to 20 mins maybe?).  I thought i had done some pretty good hill training last year, but this one almost got me.  I was sorely tempted to stop and walk (like just about everyone else was doing), but i didn't think I had enough forward momentum in 42/23 (my lowest gear) to be able to unclip and get a foot down before falling over.  On a positive note, there's a long, fast, snaking downhill on the other side.

I'm signed up for the 200, but I'm toying with the 250?!?!?

Gonna try to start right at 6, but I'm staying in Fitchburg and have to drive the rest of the way tomorrow morning.

What's the latest weather forcast?

Showers and thunderstorms early (I think around 6am just kidding) and then clearing, sunny and hot in the afternoon!  I am hoping the storms blow through overnight and we are good to go in the morning.  Fingers crossed it won't be like the Centurion last weekend!
