Anyone else doing the Gatlinburg Tri, April 10th. 1/2 mile pool swim(can't wait to see how they do that), 20 k ride, 5k run.

I've done it 2 years in the past, but won't make it this year.  The pool swim is 16 lane laps.  It's a small event with very few participants.  They swam 2 per lane, 8 lanes I think, in 3 different waves.  Very fun for a small event.  The bike and the end of the run was kinda hilly.

fun race, 800 meter swim in a 25 meter pool. Very hilly and technical but fun bike ( I had a really good bike), and a hilly run. Small but very well done fun race, I will definately do it again next year.
