San Diego (oceanside) training partners?

i'm a full time grad student in a physical therapy program trying to train for at least a sprint. i've done some sprints before but i'm looking to try and build a base to do some longer races. ideally half ironman next year. between school and studying i find it difficult to motivate myself to get in some quality training.

anyone know if some good clubs in the area to join? or is anyone out in this area willing to have a somewhat of a newbie tag along?
