Swim
Comments: I had a major anxiety attack in the first 500 meters . As this was my very first open water swim I was not mentally prepared for murky water, slight chop and lots of people. Once I got myself together I was great. I really enjoyed the swim. I feel like I am hooked in swimming in competitions. What would you do differently?: Many many things but most of all I would eat and drink plenty before the race day. Post race
Warm down: eat eat eat What limited your ability to perform faster: general fitness and early anxiety Event comments: Thankyou to all the volunteers who helped make this day great. Last updated: 2010-04-24 12:00 AM
