Lobsterman or Pumpkinman Tri

With this being your first year I'd base your decision on where you are distance wise.  I have done the Pumpkinman Sprint twice and like it a lot.  However, I have heard great things about the Lobsterman and that is going to be my first Oly distance triathlon (this is my 3rd year of Tris).

So, just my opionion, but if you feel you can do the Oly distance I'd do the Lobsterman.  If not, the Pumpkinman Sprint is not a bad 2nd choice.

Or . . .

Why not do both?  Use the Pumpkinman sprint as a tune-up for the Lobersterman the folllowing week?

I am doing 3 triathlons before either the pumpkinman or Lobsterman.  I would wait to see how I feel after my first tri in June but I don't want the races to fill up.

I LOVE LOBSTERMAN! Oh yes I do!  Great race.  SO - I would go with do you want to cap things off with a sprint, oly, or HIM?  I do like the idea of doing both the sprint Pumpkin and the Lobsterman.....Hmmmm
