Ok all three bikes fit great I just would like some personal opinions on the actual bike.

1. 2010 Quintana roo tequilo 1600.00$ - 1900.00$

2. 2009 Felt B16 1900.00$

3. 2008/2009 Kuota K-factor 1800.00$

I am an entry level cyclist/triathlete. I love biking and plan to use it even if I stop doing triathlons.

thanks for the help

I am in a fairly similar position as you.  I am new to cycling and just bought a bike this past weekend.  My personal goals are to do a HIM in 2011 and a full IM in 2012.

I just bought a Felt B16 2010 this weekend.  I went with this bike because it is carbon and I can upgrade the components when I really start taking this sport seriously--ie, more races, longer races.  I can tell this bike is going to be fun to ride long term and for long distances.  I believe that a bike that fits you well and that you enjoy riding will pay huge dividends toward your enjoyment and success.

I think you need to decide what distance tris in which you will compete and how long you will compete.  If the answer to those questions is "not long", then I would suggest getting a road bike.  No sense taking a road bike out on weekend rides if you are only going to do sprint and oly tris for a year or two.

The experts will provide more thorough advice.  Just my two.

If they do all fit you well, and they all ride the same to you...get the one that you like the best.  Meaning the one you would be the proudest to rock...and the one that makes you want to ride more, ride farther, and ride faster.

Then pick the one that comes in the color you like the best!

I have always been a fan of Felt.  You usually get more bike for your bike plus they are pretty good looking too.  The b16 is a very very nice bike.

I've got a couple Felt tri bikes. I'd buy another one in a minute if I were in the market for one.

Depends. Is the Tequilo 1600.00 or 1900.00? If 1600.00 then I'd go with it and put my money towards a new seat and fitting. If those things are already in the budget then I'd still get the Tequilo and put my money toward new wheels (used).

I ride a Kuota K Factor & have some 15K miles on it and have had multiple bike fits. and Felts are to long for me. I could make a Felt work but I would be on far end of fit and not ideal to have bike handle how it was designed.

I find it strange that both fit you well as they are quite opposite type of bike geometry. K Factor is shorter and higher head tube and Felt is longer and lower head tube. Often for folks one would fit and other one would not fit.

Did you get a bike fit? I'm getting at is are you sure they all three fit?

What size are all three bikes? Have you looked at Slow Twitch's stack and reach articles on bikes. It will be enlightening for you.

I bought a Felt B16 about 2 months ago.  I plan to a HIM at the end of this year and IM next year.  I think its a great bike.  I am comfortable on it and proud to be seen on it.  If the B16 fits you well then you should really think about pulling the trigger on it.

It is after all the Bike of the Year!

The Felt was a size 56 and the Kuota was a 57 I believe or a 58. So I don't know if that made a huge different but all three felt good but I am also going from a road bike converted to a semi tri outfit. I guess for me is, I am waiting to find that amazing deal and will jump at what ever has the best price. I look online and see them come and go for about 1600 and up. I just don't now about the quality I guess. The QR has ultegra while the Felt has 105, so Im not sure if that should be my deciding factor. All three have pros and cons to me. But I just wanted some personal review.

Look here and you will see they are not similar geometry.

A great deal on a bike isn't very good if bike doesn't fit well.
