swim first: can wetsuits hurt your form. Not while your wearing them, but once you are out of open water and back in the pool. My alignment feels off when i go back to the pool after a few OWS. Are my legs really sinking more, or does it just feel that way after having the help from the wetsuit?

Now the Bike: Another tingly finger question. My left hand goes numb in the aero position. Only the left, and only in aero. wht do ya think?

Swim:  Yes.  See the current pull bouy thread.  I'd think that the same principle is at work here.

Bike:  Dunno.  Sounds like pinching/excess pressure somewhere, but I think this is hard to answer without looking.

I tend to get more tingly feelings/numbness in my left hand on longer rides because I move my right hand around a lot more switching gears and grabbing my water.  I ride a roadie with no aeros though, so YMMV.

I do not mean to sound silly,    ...but could it just be your watch, if you wear one on the left wrist? It may be too tight when your wrist is bent...

I am not being silly either, thats really good thinking.  Simple, but just may be it... I have this issue sometimes, it was in both hands, had a bike fit, right is gone, none in the left for a while... but thats the arm with my HRM....  Gonna try it one notch looser...

Thanks for this!  I used to have problems with both hands going numb and I've since made a conscious effort to take the pressure off my hands and stabilize myself more with my core- but still my left hand will go numb on really long rides.  And this is exactly why!
For what it's worth, I did try switching watch hands a while back, thinking this was the problem, and it didn't help.  But it could.

Good idea about the watch, but I don't wear one while I ride.
