Navigation? me.. I always swim in a straight line.. ummm no.. the first leg I was dead straight.. the second leg was super hard to stay on couse and I didn't realize that until it was very late.. I did it twice.. the first time was so bad that I tried to grind out a few minutes to make up for it.. then I went off course again.. I was really angry with myself and lost my rythum.. this was surprisingly hard on me mentaly..
What would you do differently?:

sight more often
Post race

Hey Laura,

Great job. 37 minutes is a good time and great for your second open water swim. I hope that I am able to do the race next year.

By the way great job getting your race to 37 minutes exactly. You should get some sort of prize for that. How did your mom do? Maybe I will see you Wednesday.

Okay, I'm off to check off your race report for the tri.

I think you did GREAT! Your average open water 100 meter pace is faster than my PR for a 100 meters in a pool. Great job!

That's so awesome. I wish I was faster in open water than I am in the pool. Next time I will draft off of you.
