For a while when the kids were younger, times were dark and pizza was nowhere to be found.  Now, gosh, 4x a week or more, and sometimes there's even pizza more than once a day.  Definitely better lots of pizza than no.

Makes you not want to get married with the dramatic diminishment of pizza. Does licking the topping still count as getting pizza to or is that just half baked pizza.

Just because there's pizza available doesn't mean it's any good.

Damn, I'm naive as well as I thought it was about pizza, not PIZZA.

Well, for me in the desert, there has been no PIZZA since I left home in Feb and I will not have any until I get back home in Nov.

Talk about depressing, esp when you have the world's best PIZZA waiting at home for you!!!

smarti - 2010-06-11 4:11 PM This is interesting. I recently had a conversation with my boyfriend about this, because I was starting to think I was a freak for wanting "pizza" more than he did. The stereotype is that it's usually the other way around. He's a once-a-weeker, I'm an every-other-dayer. We agreed to compromise at 2x a week, but it's not as scheduled as it sounds. He just knows there are "pizza" needs that should be met or mama gets a bit cranky.

your boyfriend needs a good talking to.  If I had a nickle for everytime I turned my wife down, I'd have no nickles.  I really don't believe this urban legend about women who want more pizza than their male counterparts (unless the dude has health problems or is like 80)

Guy who thought this thread was about the delicious italian dish made with dough, tomatos and cheese... I am from New Haven PIZZA CAPITAL OF THE WORLD and our famous pizza is white clam pizza (I kid you not its the best).  Its yummy I'd have it every day... real pizza with COJ pizza 2x day would be perfect.  cold pizza from the night before is another New Haven tradition.

Here is a recipe from Men's Halth for white clam pizza (but you really should go to Sally's for it)

Studies have shown that married men have more pizza than single men (average, so you studs out there may be doing better than the average of course).

My wife is due for having a baby cut out of her belly in 16 days, so pizza does not seem to be a very high concern for her right now.  On the other hand, she does love eating pizza (the tasty, doughy, Italian dish)!

I always feel like BT is in grade school and we're too embarrassed to say "sex" when this topic comes up.

I wish this phrase would just go away. (and "flowers" and all the other grade school euphemisms.  We're adults people.)

Let the mocking begin...

Um, I really thought it was so that we could keep the site from becoming x-rated and viewable at work, etc. etc.  Some folks wouldn't be able to read various parts of the forum if the real words were used all the time....

It isn't childish, it's helpful.

If that were the case people would not be posting subjects like "bike porn".  Besides, if the occasional occurrence of the word "sex" in the millions of words this board generates per month causes the site to get "banned" then your company has got some seriously flawed internet censor software.

Sorry, I don't buy it.

You must have missed the thread where it was asked of us to use the term "bike pjorn" as BT was being censored at some users workplace because of that term, and many folks here don't have control over what censoring software their employer uses.

Unfortunately that request has been largely ignored.
