Comments: Good ride. I was starting to fade by the end of the ride which is OK. Rene took us out strong the first hour. The climb was a lot of work the 2nd hours. I closed out the ride by pulling my partner in the last hour. As usual the Chip Seal sections sucked. You could easily bump up two or three gears just changing road surface. What would you do differently?: I am really happy with this ride. If I was to do it again I would probably I would probably eat more. I plan to purchase a Bento Bag and have cut-up power bars in it. Warm down: None. Just jumped in the food line. What limited your ability to perform faster: If I wanted to ride faster I would want to work on my time trialing and my climbing. Event comments: Exceeded my goal of riding the 15 mile loop without stopping with an average speed of 15 mph. I am three weeks out from Pacific Crest. The elevation gain was over 3000 felt so I am very happy with the ride. Last updated: 2010-01-27 12:00 AM

I had my normal Ensure, Breakfast Sandwich and Vitawater on my way to the ride.
Since it was a group ride there was no warm-up. We just started out easy.
