Subject: Obscure Talent?
I live right outside of Savannah, GA-an old, historic district with small parking spaces. Man, I can parallel park anything, anytime, anywhere. I am a parking machine.

Oh yeah, I can also cook, juggle apples and eat them at the same time, and I do a mean pole dance.

Just kidding about the pole dancing.

I'm a crazy good whistler, can apply Chapstick one-handed (from pocketed, capped, and screwed down to back again!), play a mean tuba, and can tie a real bow tie.

I can juggle apples too, but I can't eat them while in the act of juggling.

Steve

1. Can also juggle, often do so in the supermarket to the consternation of my wife. Hmmm, 3 of us now, perhaps this isn't so obscure.

2. Can show up at your backyard BBQ and beat you anytime, anywhere at horseshoes. Usually practices by throwing several shoes wildly as a ruse, but really was at one time state champion.

3. Can Could do Rubiks's cube in less than 90 seconds.

Okay - I can Scottish Highland Dance.  Who else can say that?

No one even knows what this is - it entails wearing a kilt and dancing around to bagpipe music - NOT like Riverdance!!  It's actually very competitive - I won a few hundred bucks at my last competition before I quit.  It's a GREAT workout too, but seriously messed up my legs way worse than running ever could.

If you're Canadian, you might be familiar with this

I can't imagine the workout you get doing that dancing! That looks really difficult to learn.

I'm a good skydiver and hockey player. World Record holder in the largest all women's formation (131) and am State and Regional Champion in ice hockey. Well, actually my TEAM is the State and Regional champ.

I can cook traditional meals from around 10 countries, and I love to make meals that qualify as "fusion" cuisine where you blend traditional flavors from different countries. I worked as a professional station chef at a 4-Star restaurant for a year while I was getting my certifications together for my current job.

I can do the one handed chapstick thing, too. Didn't realize that was a talent. I can also fit my fist in my mouth, do a spot on impression of The Grinch (not the Jim Carey one, the original). I can also make an evil hamster face that looks like it's not even me. I sometimes just sit on the couch and make that face while staring at Eric while he's watching TV. He'll look over and it scares the crap out of him every time. He hates it! LOL! I love it!

Not so much an unusual talent as, according to most women, unusual behaviour for a man. Although I have a full time job, I do all the cooking at home because my wife finishes work after I do. I also do the dishes after every meal, I always put the toilet seat down including the lid, I bring my daily clothes to the laundry room and I put everything away after use! :-)

Wow! Good with your mouth and your hands......sorry that came out wrong. It's very easy to eat the apples once you are juggling them. Just juggle two in one hand while you bite the one in the other hand. Then throw the bitten apple back into the two. There, now go try.

Nice, that actually is what I would call unusual talent. Are you also sensitive to her needs and do you communicate well? You should set up a 'man training camp' where we can send away our boyfriends and hubbies to be more like you.

Kim, I think that you have hit upon something there.  I am retiring in 4 months so that might become my new career .... councelling husbands/boyfriends on how to share the work equally with their partners around the house.  :-)

Baseball 1, but I like cooking and anyways, I look great when I have my pink frilly apron on to cook!

I am a triathlete.

Although I don't do all the cooking, I do clean the bathrooms (it makes my wife very happy).

I also have a talent for finding good deals for my friends and relatives on the big ticket item they buy.

Also, I built all of my golf clubs (excluding putter). I also built a lot of sets for my friends and family.

Well for what it's worth, and I never use it anymore, I am a trained Coloratura Soprano (That's opera to you non fans). I am not quite as high voiced as I used to be so I am moving toward Dramatic.

I also design and sew my own Ren Faire outfits. Yes I am a nerd.
