Good race!

Swim is easy, just may have to sight off the shore of the river instead of buoys. The sun can be rather blinding.

Bike has a few hills and a few false flat sections, but overall is a easy, fast course. Can be windy.

Run is fairly tough. Hilly, dirty and hot.

Jack always makes such a big deal about 'the dirt road from hell' but it's just hot and dry and dusty.  No big deal.  Did I mention it's hot?

I love this race, perhaps because it's semi close, but the river swim is warm with little current, and the bike is fairly flat and usually has fairly light traffic.  It's well organized and runs on time.  Aide stations are positioned every mile on the run and manned by the scouts who always do a good job.   Oh, and the old guys go first.

It's a fun race and usually has lots of folks for whom this is their first Oly.

I'm in.  Are you signed up?
