Wow! Only ten bucks too! That's a lot easier and cheaper than actually training for and completing the race.

I participated in a panel interview for a prospective flight nurse applicant a few months back. He Listed "Ironman Canada Finisher" on his resume, with a finish time of 9:45. The interview was going well, he said all the right stuff, etc. I was excited to talk to him about tri training and I was really hoping he'd get the job so I could have a local training partner who was obviously a stud. During the interview I couldn't resist asking him about it, and I asked what his split times were. I should have caught the clue when he didn't seem to know what a split time was. I explained what I was asking, and he gave times that added up to.......six hours and 15 minutes. I didn't ask him anything else. After the interview he went on and on about how he was a sponsored swimmer for X-Terra Racing and some other crap. He didn't get the job. But it's a running joke now that I didn't want him to work here because his world record for the Ironman would over shadow my own meager athletic accomplishments.

I bet Ironman USA would have something to say about someone selling merchandise with their official logo without their consent.

Maybe they were mistakes that they guy is trying to get rid of...the description says "26.2 mile rum"

I could use a new job Bill. I know nothing about flight nursing, but my Ironman time would probably slower than yours!

It appears that none of the medals actually have ribbons on them either.  Probably they came from the maker of the medals and someone lifted them.

C'mon down Max. I don't know if you'll be slower. My goal is "16:59:59 or less".

26.2 mile rum?!?! Now, are we talking Captain, or Malibu?

Seriously though.... what kind of a lame person would buy one of these and pretend to be an Ironman? Wouldn't want to have to work for anything in life, ya know.....

haha. i have an "official NFL" Eagles 2004 Conference Champs shirt that my friend got me. he works in jersey and those shirts were test runs printed in the event that the eagles won. he smuggled them out and hooked a few people such as myself up with them.

the eagles lost.

I "asked the seller" where he got em and he said "At an auction". A lot of people are calling him on this and he is VERY defensive. No one is being super rude just very concerned and he is being a dork.

I told him I was reporting him to Ebay and Ironman USA and he sent me a nasty e-mail saying he was leaving me bad feedback. Since I did not bid or purchase anything from him I wonder how he will do that?

We shall see. He said he would destroy them but I am not sure I believe him. I am a skeptic when it comes to people and cash.
