It was my first HIM, so the finish was what I was after. 

I was really surprised by how hard the run was, though.  My time was 2:03 on my first standalone HM last October, so I really wasn't expecting to spend almost 3 hours out there on the run.

This run course has it's own challenges even if you're fresh.  Add the fact that you've already been in the saddle for 56mi and fought thru the lake and just finishing it is an accomplishment.  Nice job for your first HIM!!!
