Great job on a hot day on a tough course!  Right there with you on the swim - felt like the ocean with jet fuel!!

Great job & nice RR. That swim was brutal. I had a really tough day too. Didn't notice the heat so much on the bike but felt it on the run. Was glad when the sun went down. Remember though, never say never. You may be out there again....The pain will fade over time!

Great job! Glad you thought of me on the run! I was happy, so happy, that I got to see you on the run. It made me stronger. Great report.....and that subway was weird!

Heh. You said ti.ts in a race report. (stupid editor won't let me type it in lower case..)

Way to stick it out, girly. Sounds like you had a hell of a time out there. Well done on all accounts, even if it wasn't as fast as you had hoped. Proud 'o you.

Loved this line from your race report: "Decided that either I would finish or they would drag my dead carcass off this f*cking course."

Way to HTFU!!!

Very well done and would not be surprised to see you out there again once the burns/chaffs/pain/sprains and pulls all heal up!

Amazing race report. Well done!

Hi Leah I know this reply is late but I just got back from doing a hectic reno in my house.  Congrats on the IM finish, 2 is a good number of IMs to do in your lifetime.  It will be the same for me, too bad I wanted to do one with you.  I will do IMC in 2012 or that is what the plan is.
