Asthmatic resting HR

So my average exercise effort hits about 170 bpm which is pretty normal from what ive found. But my resting HR is always in the mid to upper 70s. I understand this is normal but i was expecting my exercise rate to be higher for the effort i put in. I am wondering what affect asthma has on HR in general?
