I am  slooooowly getting my motivation back and deided to do my first relay this Sunday.   Haven't raced since MIT, but have a busy Fall so need the motivation.   Will be doing the Bike portion.   Actually lookign forward to being able to go all out and not suffer the consequences on the run afterwards!   See you out there.

Me too. I have had some injury/illness problems all last month, so my volume for June is down about 50-70% so it will be interesting

congrats!  i did not do so hot - 8th out of 8, solid BOP!!!  gives me something to work towards  no worries, i knew i wouldn't do well since my training has been non-existent but not that my non-work hours have freed up, i can only go up from here.

besides that - great race - i love racing at tradewinds, and it sucks that there won't be anymore races there this year due to construction.

Just need to tell y'all that this was an immense thrill to reach the finish line. Yeah, I miscalculated the swim, went out to race and found myself exhausted in minutes. But finally got to the bike and tried to make time up that had already been long gone. I expect to do the Mack bonus tri for an ocean swim. Just keep the inspiration coming.

Did the relay Bike split...    First and last time doing a sprint relay.   I was out of rythym and really did not have time to warm up since transition closed early.   Bike split was ok, we came in 3rd out of 5 relay teams.    I like that course though and will be back.    Amazed at how many people missed the 2nd lap on run...  Really???   din't people think 10 minutes+ woudl be quick for 3 mile distance?   Saw a lot of people heading out to do 2nd lap.
