Hello everybody, I live in Chile and I am currently training for my first Ironman 70.3, which will take place in Santiago in October, after that, I hope I'll make it for Pucon in January.

Welcome to BT! A lot of great people here with tons of excellent support and information.

Where do you live in Chile? I am actually a wine importer and we import the organic wines from La Fortuna to the US. I spent many winters (Dec-March) down around the lakes and further south around Coyhaique... pescando para las truchas por supuesto...pero muchos ano etras....

Hello Andy, thks for your welcome. I live in Santiago, which is not so nice because of so much pollution, specially now, during the southern winter, but it's ok, there are a lot of nice places nearby.

Great wines here, I have never tried a La Fortuna one, but I'll look for it. If you´re interested I could pitch you another Winery for distribution in the US. Let me know.

The south of Chile is spectacular, I usually go there during the southern summer. I am really looking forward to the Pucon 70.3, it was cataloged as World's most scenic triathlon, we'll see....
