First time doing ½ mile and it was in 25 mins. All bar 25 yards was crawl as well.

I rule the (local) pool! Well until next week when the swim team get back in that slot that I swim in on a Wednesday then they can kick my butt while having a chat as well!

But for a week I rule!!

Next target – 1,000 yards and putting the legs together so that I can eventually do it in one go!

That’s 300 yards to 900 yards in 3 months. Max swimming 3 times a week!

That rocks, Mike. I'm still looking for that breakthrough moment. I did swim 250 yards crawl without stopping this morning, though, and I felt like just maybe I was getting to that point where I would not experience more fatigue and out-of-breathness, but I still stopped after 250.

Well done Mike!
900 yards!!! That's my next target and I should get there next week. I hope I feel half as pleased with myself as you do.
Well done again

You will Ian, you will. 3 months ago I wouldn’t even walk ½ mile – now I’m swimming it!

How great is that? Swimming and breakthrough don't usually go together in my house, so I am a little bit in awe and totally happy for you.

That is awesome and gives me GREAT hope! I think my first time I did about 200 yards total. I'm up about triple that now after four or five swims, so I can see improvement but it feels SO slow!
