Just finished my first tri yesterday

Hi, my name is Dave.  Was talked into a sprint and completed it yesterday.  All went ok considering I knew nothing about this sport.  My run was 600 yards, bike 18mi, run 5k.  It started at 7:00am!!!  That in itself is nuts, who can take care of business that early in the morning without working crazy hours.  I can say I thought the whole experience would be lame because my tri friend talks about all this training stuff, and well sorry, but I think that itself is kinda lame,  Maybe because I don't associate training with fun.  My background is not in sports, sucked at sports all through my youth (im' 32) and found music to be my outlet and talent.....ie.came pretty easy.  As an adult though I picked up racquetball 2 years ago and love it.  No tedious moments just straight fun.  Anyway I find myself today thinking what happened yesterday might have been fun and I'm thinking I could do another,  this time without being hounded, bribed and harrassed!!!  Look I'm here at a tri site!!!
